Kickstart
your career.

Through AIOH, the career pathways are limitless.

In the current world, the career outcomes are endless. You can even create your own job title and work for yourself.

Whether you want to work as a head chef or head waiter in a restaurant, a gastronomist, or even a chef on social media, anything is possible.

Did you know you can get SACE credit for working in hospitality?

As part of your SACE, students can complete vocational education and training (VET) that is within the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Students who achieve their SACE and also receive a VET qualification have a greater capacity to take advantage of a future career, post-school training, tertiary and employment opportunities.

Furthermore, the training you do as part of your School-Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship (SBAT) can also count towards your SACE.

Whilst still completing your SACE, a SBAT gives you
the opportunity to combine VET training with an employment contract.

When you are a school-based apprentice, you get paid to work in the industry while training at a trade school such as AIOH.

To find out more information on SBATs, contact your school’s VET coordinator today.
